On April 29, Zhu Guangxia, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of MCC and China MCC and Vice President of China MCC, visited Chen Guoji, Chief Secretary for Administration of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Wang Songmiao, Secretary-General of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and carried out a series of business activities in Hong Kong.

        During the discussion with Chief Secretary Chen Guoji, Zhu Guangxia introduced the MCC's business structure of "One Core, Two Main Bodies, and Five Characteristics" as well as the development of its overseas business. He expressed that MCC attaches great importance to the Hong Kong market and will increase investment to contribute to the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Chen Guoji welcomed Zhu Guangxia and his entourage to the Hong Kong Government and said that he would continue to support MCC's business expansion in Hong Kong, hoping that MCC will make new contributions to Hong Kong's security, stability, and prosperity.

       During the discussion with Secretary-General Wang Songmiao, Zhu Guangxia expressed gratitude to the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for its long-term support to MCC. Wang Songmiao expressed his hope that MCC will play a more prominent role as a central enterprise in Hong Kong's future economic and social development.

       During his stay in Hong Kong, Zhu Guangxia also exchanged views with relevant enterprises to promote the implementation of projects. Additionally, he led a team to inspect the Hong Kong building project, and put forward clear requirements for the project department's safe construction practices and high-quality contract performance.

Relevant personnel from MCC Marine Engineering Department and MCC Hong Kong and Macao Company participated in the above activities.
