On June 1, the launching ceremony of the 2024 "Work Safety Month" sponsored by MCC and hosted by NCMCC was held in Tianjin. Bai Xiaohu, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of MCC and China MCC and Vice President of China MCC, attended the event.

       He announced the launching of MCC's "Work Safety Month". Teng Haijun, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of NCMCC, and Liu Guanhong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, delivered speeches respectively. Wang Zirui, Deputy Chief Engineer and Chief Safety Officer of MCC, put forward requirements for solidly carrying out activities of the Work Safety Month. The launching meeting required that all subsidiaries should conscientiously study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on work safety, and take Work Safety Month as an opportunity to effectively establish the concept of safe development, and shoulder work safety responsibilities, to build a solid foundation for work safety. The MCC Engineering Safety Risk Database was also released at the event, and safety oaths and construction site visits were conducted.

       The event adopts the form of "live + cloud livestreaming". 225 people including relevant personnel from the Work Safety Supervision and Management Department of MCC, leaders in charge of safety, chief safety officers, heads of the Work Safety Supervision and Management Department of subsidiaries in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and third-level companies in Tianjin, and project managers and chief safety officers of some project departments in Tianjin attended the event, while 19,900 people, by the terminal, watched through the cloud livestreaming system.
