In order to fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussions and instructions on work safety, firmly establish the safety concept of "people first, life first", and follow the theme of the Work Safety Month of "public attention to safety and knowledge about response to emergencies − smooth life channels", on June 28, MCC carried out an emergency drill for hazardous chemical leakage accidents in 2024 at China Silicon Corporation Ltd. of China ENFI.

       This drill adopted the form of practical exercises and simulated the emergency situation of the leakage of the valve at the bottom of the electronic trichlorosilane product storage tank in the chlorosilane storage tank area. This drill, by actively linking the fire protection of the park, carried out emergency rescue simulations such as emergency command, process disposal, fire alert, wounded treatment, material allocation, emergency rescue, and information reporting. The on-site command of this drill was efficient and smooth, and all emergency teams worked together, timely and effectively sealing the leakage part to eliminate the danger, which met the expectations of this drill.

        In the activity, it was pointed out that as the chemical industry is an industry with prominent risks and frequent accidents, and the risk of accidents is still high, we shall stand at a political level, further understand the extreme importance of safety emergency work, transform the sense of responsibility of "be alert to dangers even in times of calm" into the action of "effectively respond to various potential risks and challenges", resolutely build a risk prevention barrier with higher standards, stricter requirements, more detailed measures, and more practical style, and promote the safety emergency work to continuously achieve new results to escort the realization of MCC's goal of One Establishment, the Best and the Most Trusted, and Five Strengths.

        The activity requires that each subsidiary shall improve the construction of the emergency rescue force system based on its own actual business conditions, promote the upgrading of the emergency rescue team, perfect the emergency rescue command mechanism, intensify the construction of emergency rescue capabilities, and upgrade grassroots emergency management capabilities and levels, to continuously strengthen the hard power of "everyone observes safety and everyone grasps emergency".

        Leaders in charge of safety, chief safety officers, and heads of safety departments of MCC's Emergency Department, CRIBC, WISDRI, China ENFI, NCMCC, MCCT, MCC Ecological Environmental Protection, MCC Ramu New Energy, and the affiliated third-level companies, as well as units including the Management Committee of the Mengjin District Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone, Mengjin District Emergency Management Bureau, and Mengjin District Fire Brigade, participated in this drill. After the drill, each unit discussed and exchanged views on the building of the safety management system and the emergency system at the SINOSICO factory, to learn from each other and jointly promote the safe development of enterprises.
